Vince Frost steps back from design grindstone to build business

frostFrost founder Vincent Frost is to step back from direct involvement in day-to-day design work at the agency in order to focus on building client relationships.

The move sees former design director Anthony Donovan return to the agency as creative director. Frost will become joint ECD.

Donovan left in 2010 to work at rival design agency Moon. He previously worked for Frost for six years.

In an announcement of the changes Frost said: “In my new role I will step up to become executive creative director and CEO, which will free me up to work more closely with our clients on their businesses, participating in talks and awards and generating more opportunities for Frost.”

“As Executive Creative Director I will be working closely with Ant, supporting him and remaining active in the creative direction of the studio”.

“Ant is a good mate and an incredibly passionate, talented CD. He shares the same passion for ‘big ideas’ and bringing them to life with the ‘craft’ of design, and he’ll be working across all creative in the studio”.

Donovan said: “I’m very excited to be rejoining Frost. After six years with the company, it was time for me to stretch my creative muscle elsewhere. But Vince has created a unique, leading role for me.”
