Virgin Mobile appoints Euro RSCG but Mojo ‘remains on roster’
Virgin Mobile has added Euro RSCG to its roster with a new brand campaign to break next week.
The move comes just four months after Vodafone parted ways with Euro’s sister agency Host.
Euro found its way onto the roster after jointly pitching for the evolution of the “Fair Go For All” brand work with PR agency One Green Bean, which was co-founded by Host boss Anthony Freedman.
Mojo – which created the first stage of the Fair Go For All positioning with Robin Da Hood – remains on the roster though, Virgin Mobile said.
Virgin Mobile’s marketing director, David Scribner, who joined in April, said, “We took the opportunity to review the way in which we work with our agencies and gave each the opportunity to pitch for this brand update. We’re extremely excited about the approach we are taking with Euro RSCG and OGB’s idea, impressed with the work their teams have produced together and we’re looking forward to more potential collaborations in the future.”
Euro RSCG CEO, Anthony Gregorio said, “It’s exciting to be working with Virgin Mobile who have such a strong track record of producing creative and effective work. The new campaign continues that tradition and it has been a great collaborative effort between Euro and the team at One Green Bean.”
The announcement comes shortly after a similar one involving Qantas which saw other agencies take on the main brand work but Mojo remain on the roster.
Big congrats Euro peeps.

Nice of them to let Mojo down gently.

Hi confused,
As I understand it, that was a single project. This is the main brand campaign.
Cheers,
