Whiskas turns Martin Place into ‘Kitten Place’

Pet food brand Whiskas has today transformed Sydney’s Martin Place into ‘Kitten Place’ in an experiential campaign.

The campaign, which supports of charity Pet Rescue, will feature a transparent, custom built house for kittens, with real kittens inside it.

The campaign was devised by BD Network, Clemenger BBDO and Starcom.

The structure was created to celebrate the launch of ‘Bring Your Home To Life’, an initiative to encourage responsible ownership of kittens, and getakitten.com.au, a website to match owners with rescue kittens.

Anthony Dean, a spokesperson for Whiskas said: “This time last year around 8,000 kittens nation-wide were up for adoption through PetRescue, and signs show 2012 will be just as big. A kitten can make the perfect addition to almost any kind of household. Our campaign seeks to remind people how adorable kittens can transform a home and bring so much joy.”

The campaign will be supported by press, outdoor, DM and digital.
