Virgin MobileVirgin Mobile has handed its creative account to Whybin/TBWA following a creative pitch the telco kicked off last year.

The pitch also covered media and PR, with Virgin handing its public relations and social media account to Whybin\TBWA’s PR agency ElevenPR.

UM has picked up the Virgin media account as well as the Optus account, as both telcos are owned by the same parent company, Singtel.

With Collective has been appointed to lead customer marketing activity, while Emotive also joins the roster as a content partner for the brand.

David Scribner, Head of Virgin Mobile said in a statement: “Whybin\TBWA, Eleven PR, UM, Emotive and WiTH Collective all demonstrated fantastic creativity and disruptive strategic thinking throughout the pitch process.

“UM have been appointed to look after all media activity for the Virgin Mobile account, with Emotive also joining
the roster as a content partner for the brand.”

“Virgin Mobile have enjoyed a great partnership with Havas, One Green Bean and MediaVest for a number of years, working collaboratively to produce some exceptional award-winning creative campaigns. We’d like to thank the teams for all their hard work in making the Virgin Mobile brand what it is today”, he said.

Havas Worldwide Sydney and One Green Bean were behind Virgin Mobile’s“Fair Go Bro” campaign featuring Brad Pitt’s brother Doug.
