OneShift sets for marketing push pitching media and handing creative to Whybin\TBWA Sydney
Whybin\TBWA Sydney has been awarded the creative account for job matching network OneShift following a two-month review, with its media planning and buying account currently out to pitch for the first time.
OneShift marketing director Simon Porter said: “We are just completing a formal pitch process for the media planning and buying. We expect to be able to make an announcement next week.”
The job network has previously not had a media agency on its roster, and has been without a creative agency for the last 12 months, with Porter saying they would be looking to create a “truly disruptive brand campaign”.
Whybin\TBWA Sydney will be responsible for developing and executing OneShift’s multi-channel advertising campaign which is set to promote the brand’s online recruitment model.
“For the past 12 months we haven’t worked with an agency. With our growth plans we felt now was the time to get the right partner on board.”
Previously Host had managed the OneShift account, having been appointed in October 2012.
Whybin\TBWA Group general manager Nitsa Lotus said: “We’re thrilled to be working with a brand like OneShift, which is truly challenging the status quo in the online job market.”
The Sydney office’s clients include Insurance Australia Group, Apple, David Jones, Tourism New Zealand, Lion, Fairfax and Tabcorp.
