So Lara Bingle takes the plunge. The Shire is put on hold. Andrew Bolt is provided with a forum but is dull and has no talent for television irrespective of his political views. And meanwhile the Ten board, devoid of any real hands on television experience has a rights issue to keep the ship afloat but with no coherent strategy as to how to get Ten out of this mess. Perhaps it is time for a takeover.

Why do you think James is selling down the CPH holdings?? I’ve told him to start the press release with ‘Dad always wanted……’

Yes, Harry, and The Project continues to be rubbish.
Not to mention Ten’s news coverage, which is often quite terrible.

Shining light for TEN is the Late News for mine. Largely due to the host and daring to think outside the square with presentation. Last night’s jumbotron boat people stand up case in point.

Yes Ten’s late news is a far improvement from the giggling Sandra Sully. Ten is taking bold chances with its breakfast and news shows but sadly the viewing public are not buying it. They have at least not ventured into a second season of The Renovators but then went and followed Lara Bingle. Ten’s loss is Nine’s gain. Nine was gone for all money last year and now have bounced back largely due to The Block. What do people see in that show that is so special?Big Brother will fail for sure.

At least Ten news has substance not like the dribble and sensationism of Nine and Seven

Totaly disagree Rob & Georgie. Ten Late News is a trainwreck. MacDonald comes across as arrogant and his interviewing style needs a lot of work – not giving guests times to answer questions is poor form. When the biggest talking point after a month of being on air is the colour of MacDonald’s pants then there’s a major issue. I’d take Sandra Sully’s version of Ten Late News any day over the new version. Ten’s sure to be kicking themselves after cancelling Sully’s version which had double the ratings of MacDonald’s.
