Woolworths promotes Jamie Oliver dinnerware and vouchers
Woolworths is promoting Jamie Oliver’s dinnerware which is exclusive to the supermarket chain in a 16-second TV commercial.

The spot follows on from the supermarket returning to its ‘Fresh Food People’ positioning in a new brand campaign from Leo Burnett Sydney which only featured Woolworths ambassador Jamie Oliver right at the end.
Marketing experts were split on the reappearance of the positioning, with one describing it as a backward step and another proclaiming it a return to a proven winning formula.
Yesterday, media agency Carat retained the Woolworths media account in a three way shootout with GroupM’s MediaCom and Omnicom’s OMD.
You need 5 stickers to save 50% of one item. You need to spend $20 to get one sticker. The offer runs until November. How many items do you think are in the average set of crockery? Do the maths to figure out the level of frustration many Woolworth’s customers are going to have.

I love the crockery, however just simply can’t afford it by the time you spend the $100 to get one item at 50% off it makes for a very expensive dinner setting…would love to be able to buy the setting as a full set…even paying full price it would work out cheaper.
