World’s largest esky built by Jim Beam

The “biggest esky in the world” was unveiled on Bondi Beach this morning in a stunt led by advertising agency The Works.

The campaign, which sees the Icebergs pool turned into the esky, will be used in part of a Jim Beam TV spot in April.

  10. It suggests that some giant bogans are about to emerge from the ocean, get pissed, then stomp Bondi into the sand. Scary.

  18. Looks cool – until you consider Coca Cola own Jim Beam and decided to sue the NT government recently over their ‘cash for cans’ recycling scheme. Expect to see plenty of empty normal-sized Jim & Coke cans washing up on beaches around Australia.

  22. Disgusting. How was this ever approved? Between closing the pool for water polo promotions and stupid advertising stunts like this, it’s a wonder that swimmers are ever allowed to use the pool.

    Great targeting there my friend. I agree, it should be boutique beers from hip and trendy micro breweries and lots of the white stuff. For Jim beam, I would have filled up a pool in Penrith.
