Dr Mumbo

Would you like lies with that?

Dr Mumbo hopes that Nine is paying hyperbole-loving publicist Max Markson for his sterling PR work on behalf of The Celebrity Apprentice, which sees him on the boys’ side, Team Unity, we now learn.

And we also get a hefty clue from today’s release that KFC is a sponsor of the show:

CH 9 CELEBRITY APPRENTICE CHARITY FUNDRAISING CONTINUES TODAY TUESDAY 20th September 3pm to 6pm AT KFC NORTHMEAD ,corner Redbank and Briens Rd Northmead.

Ch 9 Celebrity Apprentices TEAM UNITY… Wendell Sailor , Warwick Capper , Brownlow medalist Shane Crawford , Didier Cohen , So You Think You Can Dance judge Jason Coleman and publicist Max Markson will be raising money for Breast Cancer when they take over running KFC Northmead ,corner Redbank and Briens Rd between 3pm and 6pm today.

Other guests coming to KFC Northmead include Eels star Jarryd Hayne , Kevin Sheedy and his new Greater Western Sydney AFL team plus a sensational HIP HOP dance troupe !

Watch out for Sailor and Coleman out front as “maitre d’s” and cleaning the toilets , Crawford and Cohen behind the counter and Markson and Capper cooking up a storm in the kitchen!

Members of the public , companies and corporations who would like KFC for afternoon tea or dinner today are encouraged to be waited on hand and foot by the celebrities and all money taken by KFC as well as all “tips” and donations for good service go to charity.

Colonel Harland Sanders introduced Original Recipe Chicken with its secret blend of 11 herbs and spices in 1939 …..let’s hope Markson and Capper don’t ruin it in 2011 !

TO INTERVIEW WENDELL SAILOR, JASON COLEMAN or any of TEAM UNITY call Max Markson

The celebrity format of the show is already garnering mondo PR, with last week’s celebrity car wash – also publicised by Max – generating big coverage.

Dr Mumbo predcits that this might just rate.
