ZenithOptimedia wins $5m Members Own Health Funds

ZenithOptimedia has won the $5m Members Own Health Funds media account following a competitive pitch.  The account is thought to be worth between $2m-$5m.

The announcement:

ZenithOptimedia Melbourne has confirmed it is the media agency behind today’s launch of the newly created Members Own Health Funds, a collective of 18 not-for-profit health funds in Australia.

ZO won the competitive pitch in November and has been working with the organisation’s CEO, member funds from around the country and the creative agency The Shannon Company on today’s national launch.

“It’s an exciting start to 2015 and we are proud to have worked so collaboratively and effectively to give this new entity’s arrival a compelling push into the Australian market,” said ZenithOptimedia Melbourne Managing Director Nickie Scriven.

Members Own Health Funds has been created to enable stronger communication in highlighting the benefits of membership with not-for-profit health funds to Australians.

“Health insurance is a highly competitive category so this unified approach will give the participating health funds a stronger voice and greater cut-through in the market,” said Scriven.
