AFTRS OPEN: TV Assistant Editor

The Australian TV industry is crying out for more trained and effective Assistant Editors. This three-day, intensely practical course gives students a fast, but thorough, hands-on experience in the duties, technical skills and responsibilities of the Assistant Editor. No prior editing experience is required.

Students will learn how the post-production department is structured, how to handle multi-camera set ups, the ins and outs of data management, how to handle having multiple projects on the go, and much much more about this critical role.
