Robert Marchand’s Character-based Improvisation Workshop
CBI (Character-based Improvisation Process) is an improvisation based
process to create drama for film. It’s designed to allow the actor to reach greater depth and complexity in characterisation – and also to enable the director to shape and control performances so that they serve the narrative.
Along the way, great director/actor communication is established.
Robert Marchand has developed a workshop that demonstrates not only how the process works, but also how the tools within the process are just as invaluable when working with a script.
This 5 day intensive workshop is suitable for all professional filmmakers of any kind (writers, directors) and professional actors.
