Screen Producing – The Dark Art with Stephen Luby at Open Channel

Do you want to produce film and television? Learn from one of the best in the business in this exclusive industry-led workshop.

A common misconception imagines the Producer as a ‘cigar-chomping’, wealthy, ruthless Studio Mogul. The reality for most practitioners of the ‘dark art’ of producing for the screen is somewhat different.

This unique hands-on short course presented by Stephen Luby of Ruby Entertainment in association with Open Channel introduces participants to the practicalities and the craft of producing film and television in Australia.

Each week’s learning will be wrapped around a theme, and participants are encouraged to workshop their own projects. Upon completion, participants will have a clear, practical initiation into all aspects of this mysterious and challenging profession.

Cost: $500 members / $600 non-members

Dates: 31 March – 19 May 2015 (Tuesday evenings 6.30pm – 8.30pm)
