AFTRS OPEN: Writing for TV – Online
This is an online, ten-week course on the fundamentals of creating viable and original TV drama and comedy series concepts.
The course is comprised of ten modules with a wide variety of learning activities and a lively online text chat forum. Students will watch and analyse existing dramas and comedies, participate in online group activities, complete individual assignments and get one-on-one tutor feedback.
The course will explore the creation of dramatic worlds, dynamic protagonists and secondary characters, plus tips on how to structure your show by using primary and secondary storylines.
