AFTRS OPEN: REFRAME: No Such Thing As A Lock Off
Throughout 2015 AFTRS Open will be running a series of weekend workshops and seminars on the future trends in the screen industries that matter to you.
April’s Reframe event, No Such Thing As A Lock Off, is a seminar on digital technologies and how they are dramatically changing filmmaking practices.
With the massive advances in digital technology, post-production has become a fluid, iterative process involving extensive re-editing, re-mixing and re-mastering. The process of test screenings and numerous investors influencing “final cut” often means it takes a lot longer to get there, and often even after the release a film or TV series, it may still be re-cut. This is a challenge for budgets and schedules, but a bonus for many creatives. Is this a good place to be, and where are we heading in the future?
Visit the AFTRS Open website to book your place now, or to find out more about this and other Reframe events!
