The Human Element

It’s no longer about communicating with the masses
Now it’s about me, the customer. The experience I want from your brand is unique to me.

By 2020, a forecasted 50 billion devices will be connected to the internet.
And not only are devices going online, so too are our experiences. Everything from our movements to our health are being analysed in order to personalise, inform and simplify our lives.

Connectivity reaches from light bulbs and cars to clothing and home appliances. One-on-one interactions are creating fundamental changes to the products companies sell, and the sort of business they are in.

In particular, the so-called ‘Internet of Me’ is opening the door to even more meaningful experiences on an individual level, and providing new opportunities for customer engagement.

The companies that succeed in this new Internet of Me era will become the next generation of household names.

These companies will delight and enhance customer experiences, gaining mind share while still maintaining the trust of their customers.

This event will explore:
How you can drive greater customer engagement and new avenues for growth
Wearables that aren’t worn and what sort of killer app is required to take them mainstream
The quantified self and the data movement underpinning it
The role of the smartphone as a ‘first screen’ and the hub of ‘The Internet of Me’

Presentations
Presentations will be available post-event to all AIMIA members through the resources section of the website found here.
