Fundamental Workshop || Marketing Essentials

This one day intensive workshop introduces participants to the concept of marketing and the basic elements of the marketing mix. Marketers use communications techniques to bring about a mutually satisfying exchange between an organisation and its consumers. They focus on meeting the needs and wants of consumers while achieving the business objectives of the organisation.
On completion of this workshop participants will understand how to define products and services for both consumer and business markets. They will gain an appreciation of pricing strategy and how consumers behave in the marketplace. Distribution techniques including the rise of e-commerce will be explained along with a brief look at the customer journey. The principles of branding and positioning will be examined, together with the art and science of segmentation and target marketing.
