AFTRS OPEN: Exploring Character

Great stories come from great characters. The Enneagram is a powerful approach to understanding the psychology, emotions and behaviour of ourselves and others. This two-day hands-on workshop offers writers of screen, stage and literary fiction a powerful tool for developing original and dimensional characters using the Enneagram.

In this course you’ll explore characters from the big and small screen to develop your understanding of the nine Enneagram personality types and their variations. These types with be illustrated with characters from a wide range of films, TV and web-series like Bondi Hipsters, Modern Family, The Good Wife, The Newsroom, The Social Network, When Harry Met Sally, A Few Good Men, and The Intouchables.

This workshop is for anyone looking for practical tools to take their characters to the next level.
