Screenwise Showreel Course Auditioning Now for July 2015 Intake
Screenwise is pleased to announce that auditions are now open for our Showreel Course – July 2015 intake. The Showreel Course is Screenwise’s most popular part-time course. It is a proven launch pad for acting careers including Stef Dawson (Hunger Games: Mockingjay 1 & 2), George Houvardas (Packed to the Rafters), Nathaniel Buzolic (The Vampire Diaries) and many more.
Develop a Showreel that illustrates the breadth and depth of your acting calibre. Graduate with the skills and confidence to back up your Showreel performances when you land important auditions and screen tests.
Over the duration of 40 weeks, students will refine their acting skills in preparation for the 5 week production of a professional and competitive showreel.

Course Curriculum Includes:
Script analysis / Voice / Screen acting & technique / Characterisation / Audition technique / Presenting / Blocking / Props / Continuity / Rehearse & record / CGI (Green Screen) / Showreel shoot on location with professional director / Showreel DVD compilation / Audition workshop with a current casting director / Certificate of completion / Networking and strategy

Audition Fee: $55
Duration: The Showreel Course consists of four x 10 week long semesters for the duration of one year.
Choice of day or evening classes:
Day classes: Thurs 10am – 5pm
Evening classes: Wed & Thurs 6.30pm – 9.30pm
Applicants are required to submit a course application form and pay the audition fee prior to receiving audition material. Interstate applicants can apply by DVD or electronic link with a 1 minute film or TV monologue of their choice and scene material supplied by Screenwise.
