AFTRS OPEN: Screen Comedy Directing Workshop

Want some help flexing your comedy muscles? This weekend intensive will give you the skills and knowledge to make your screen ideas funnier, whether your want to direct comedy sketches for YouTube or a comedy series for broadcast.

You’ll learn the key principles of directing comedy, the differences in directing comedy vs. directing drama, how to create comic characters, and more. You’ll then apply your newfound knowledge in a series of hands-on workshops, improvising on a range of comic scenarios.
