AFTRS OPEN: Applied Storytelling Workshop (Starts 19 Feb)

Are you secretly afraid no one is watching – or listening? It’s possible they’re not!

Our one day Applied Storytelling Workshop is a great way to develop a new way of thinking about how you communicate your message. The course explores the narrative techniques that filmmakers use to communicate effectively with audience through discussion and screening of relevant clips.

You will learn about:

• how storytelling affects the brain
• how the five key elements of storytelling help to engage audience
• how a story can be a trick for sneaking a message into minds
• how stories make your information stick and have the power to persuade, inspire and motivate

Whatever your communication challenge, at the end of this workshop we guarantee you’ll feel stimulated and motivated to get cracking and tell your story with some great new ideas! Visit the AFTRS Open website for more information.
