Air New Zealand and Host/Havas take home the Grand Prix at BEFEST awards

Air New Zealand and Host/Havas have picked up the Grand Prix at Mumbrella’s BEFEST awards.

Their Summer Wonderland campaign, featuring Ronan Keating’s Kiwi version of the iconic Christmas song Winter Wonderland, also won for Best Branded Content Campaign and Best Use of Music.

Rival airline Virgin Australia won gold in the Best Use of Experiential category for its Answer The Call experiential campaign, which was created along with the AFL, JCDecaux and Vizeum for The 2017 Toyota AFL Finals Series.

Vice Australia took home gold for Content Company of the Year, beating Sportsbet and Emotive, who were awarded silver and bronze respectively.

The Monkeys’ work with MLA earned the team a silver for its Celebrate Australia campaign, while its Spring Lamb effort picked up a bronze.

Content marketing agency Mahlab won gold in the Best Branded Publication (Print or Online) category, thanks to its Direct Advice for Dads work for HBF.

Marketing team of the year went to Hoyts, who picked up a silver.
