As Director of Product Marketing – Automotive, Thomais leads the development and implementation of Facebook’s product and marketing strategy for partnering with automakers, dealers, and endemic partners to help grow their businesses in today’s always-on, mobile-first environment. As an Automotive veteran, Thomais views this industry as the creator of the first true mobile device; she believes now is the time for its next great evolution – to move from mass producers of vehicles to creators of personalized mobility solutions that drive long-term value for customers and the Auto industry.
Prior to joining Facebook, Thomais spent nearly two decades at Ford Motor Company where she most recently led Integrated Communications for the US. In that role, Thomais oversaw Ford’s consumer engagement strategy as it relates to the discovery and purchase process. Notably, this included managing its digital marketing and content, media, shopper marketing, CRM, and digital enterprise (wired/mobile development).
Thomais earned her BA in International Management and her MBA in Marketing both from the University of New Mexico (go Lobos!), and is based in Facebook’s Detroit office. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, growing her culinary skills, and spending time with friends and family.
