BetEasy puts Ricky Ponting in different games for Raise Your Game campaign

Betting agency BetEasy has unveiled its Raise Your Game campaign, featuring brand ambassador and former Australian cricket player Ricky Ponting competing a range of games including NFL, soccer, ice hockey and chess.

Created by The Monkeys and directed by Paul Middleditch of Plaza Films, the launch film is the second campaign since the online gaming service rebranded back to its original name from Crownbet in August.

The rebrand was forced following the Federal Court blocked the company from changing its name to Sportingbet after acquiring William Hill’s Australian operations.

Shortly after the rebrand, Bet Easy featured brand ambassadors Ponting and actress Nicki Whelan in it’s “bigger, better betting experience” campaign.

BetEasy chief marketing officer, Ed Owens said of the new campaign: “With the coming together of William Hill and CrownBet we have more to offer than ever before, it’s also re-affirmed our commitment to being a cut above the rest.”

“Our emergence as BetEasy gives us a chance to demonstrate what our new entity is all about, a genuine love of competition and the thrill of live sports.”

The campaign launched on grand final weekend and will roll out in during the horse racing Spring Carnival across broadcast, out of home advertising, digital, retail, press and social channels.

Grant Rutherford, The Monkeys Melbourne executive creative director, added: “Getting to work with Ricky again was a real pleasure. And he’s the perfect embodiment of the Raise Your Game platform – the man’s literally bloody good at everything.”
