Bulldozer founder Andy McKeon leaves for Apple
Andy McKeon, the founder and creative director of Bulldozer, has left the agency for California where he has landed a creative director role at Apple, which handles much of its advertising inhouse.
Bulldozer’s MD Caroline McLaughlin confirmed the news, and said that the search was on for a replacement: “We’re considering a number of alternatives.”
McKeon founded Bulldozer in 2007 after leaving JWT Australia\New Zealand, where he was executive creative director.
He was previously creative director at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, and has plenty of experience in the US. He was created director at Amsterdam Worldwide (formerly Strawberry Frog) in New York, and a writer at Goodby Silverstein & Partners.
McKeon’s time at Bulldozer includes work for Kettle Chips, Virgin Money and Explore Planet Earth.
I found Andy a pleasure to work with, and a profoundly good bloke to share a beer with. All the very best on what sounds like an incredibly exciting gig.
