Safety & Security Advice: COVID-19

We understand the concern around the potential impact of COVID-19, we believe however that it is important that we continue to support the Marketing & Media industry but we do take the matter of COVID-19 and the protection of our communities very seriously.

In a fluid and rapidly changing situation we are following the directions of Australian Department of Health and the World Health Organisation and have initiated a series of special measures to help protect businesses and people coming together.

In following the advice from the Australian Department of Health and the World Health Organisation, Mumbrella (Diversified Communications Australia) continue to monitor the current situation daily regarding the outbreak of COVID-19.
We will evaluate each of our public gatherings and events uniquely to ensure we are complying with all health and safety procedures and advice from the Australian department of Health.

Safety is our priority – Communications about any risks, changes, or delays to any of Mumbrella’s events will be issued to our delegates and partners as and when decisions have been made. This situation is our number one priority.

At this stage, the risk of transmission in Australia is low. Australians should therefore be alert but not alarmed.

Mumbrella and Diversified Communications, our parent company, have been responding to public safety situations for many years and have an effective crisis management protocol in place.

Our team has taken extra precautions this year with vigilance around hand sanitation and respiratory hygiene to ensure your health and safety. We have great confidence in our partnerships with the venues and local authorities where our events take place. As this is evolving we will continue to provide regular updates as and when they become available and will continue to take precautions as recommended by relevant state and federal authorities.
