Deepend communications director launches communications agency History Will Be Kind

Deepend communications director Emma-Jane Granleese has  launched a new communications agency called History Will Be Kind.

The announcement:

Deepend Communications Director and former Managing Director of leading public relations agency Weber Shandwick, Emma-Jane (EJ) Granleese, has today launched a new communications agency called History Will Be Kind – operating at the crossroads of public relations, social media and digital communications.

At launch, the core team consists of five consultants, a diverse mix of communications strategists, content planners, PR experts and social media natives. The team offers clients an integrated approach including content curation, message development, social media management, PR strategy and implementation, influencer engagement and customer service consulting. This is supported by in-house production, design and digital build capabilities.

EJ has almost two decades of experience in leading high performing teams and award winning client campaigns.

Her credentials are extensive and include working for market leading brands such as Singapore Airlines, Vodafone, Samsung, Nestle, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer.

Lucinda Hearn takes a key role in the new agency as Communications Strategist and Social Media Lead. Hearn previously worked at digital agencies Orchard and Pusher in content and social media strategy positions.

Granleese comments, “Communications today is about creating cultural currency, building a consistent narrative across multiple platforms and devices, throughout communities both real and virtual. With traditional lines, blurring, businesses are seeking a more hybrid offer that ensures they are not only communicating the right message, but articulating it in a compelling, consistent way.

“At History Will Be Kind we pride ourselves on the creation, planning and execution of high impact, content driven communications programmes that fuse the power of storytelling, with a channel and platform agnostic approach. We back our thinking with integrated measurement tools, tracking positive business impact and ROI. Our aim is to create ‘great moments in time’ for our clients.”

Foundation clients and experience includes: Ferrero, Maille, Peckish, Wattle Valley, P&O Cruises, Optus Rockcorps and iFLY Downunder. History Will Be Kind is a sister agency to leading independent digital communications agency Deepend and award winning mobile agency Nomad.
