Frank PR, which is owned by Photon Group, has won the PR account for Football Federation Australia including the Hyundai A-League and the Westfield W-League.
According to the announcement: “Frank PR’s role will be to create hype and talkability around the current season of the league including creative campaign activations around their unique fan-made culture and crowd atmosphere. In addition, Frank will be responsible for profiling of key players via a hero building strategy and developing strategic relationships with third party organisations across the world of fashion, entertainment and media.”
Peter Jarmain, FFA’s senior manager for marketing, said: “We are really excited to have Frank PR on-board. Their strategic approach and understanding of our brand was impressive and they backed this up with some great ideas that we’re confident will achieve cut-through.”
Frank’s existing clients include Schweppes Australia, Pernod Ricard, Reckitt Benckiser, Vodafone, Coopers Beer and FBi Radio. The agency opened in March last year.
