Fran Molloy
I’m a freelance journalist and part-time editor and my byline appears in all manner of places including the Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, the ABC online and lots of good magazines.
As a freelance journalist, and mum of four, I work from home in the south of Sydney.
I write feature articles and profiles across a very wide range of topics, including technology, business, health, science, career, education, photography, parenting, law, property and finance.
I am a founding member and current moderator of Freeline (freelance journalists network) and I’m a long-term MEAA member. I’ve previously worked as a radio, magazine, newspaper and online journalist but got sick of wearing shoes all day.
I’ve also taught journalism at UTS, at the Australian College of Journalism and at the University of NSW and spent several years as Manager of the Australian Centre for Independent Journalism.
Specialties: Feature writing, web copywriting, SEO copy, editing, photography – and the odd press release and how-to media presentation.
