Matthew Hall

New York City-based Australian freelance journalist, author, and producer.

I have worked for major newspapers, magazines, and publishing companies around the world covering people, sport, travel, and investigative journalism.

Recently, I’ve trained with the US Marines, arrested bad guys in Texas with the US Marshals, lunched with Liza Minnelli, and eaten sultanas in Istanbul with Harry Kewell.

I was The Sun-Herald’s football writer for eight years, covered three World Cups and uncovered corporate corruption that led to a government enquiry, paving the way for Frank Lowy’s so-called regime change.

Credits include the BBC, The Guardian, The Daily Mail, Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, HarperCollins, Hardie Grant, Playboy, Rolling Stone, SBS Television Australia, Sydney 2000 Olympics, The Bulletin, Men’s Health, Men’s Style, FHM, among others.
