Matthew Packwood

Creative Director Matthew Packwood, specialist in concept development, design and advanced animation, has a wealth of experience having worked on many nationally recognised television programs and several international titles.

Working at an elite level in the Australian design and post-production industry with The Attik in Sydney, and ICON Digital Post, AAV Digital Pictures and Fox Footy Channel in Melbourne, Matthew gained extensive experience in print and interactive design, broadcast animation and editing.

As Head creative designer, Matthew managed the post-production of several national television programs, including “Stingers” and “Live at the Chapel”.

Internationally, as a compositor at VRX Studios and as a lecturer in design and animation at the Vancouver Art Institute, Matthew co-wrote and produced an award-winning short film, “Mourning Air”.

Now based in Melbourne, Matthew offers his freelance services to brands and agencies in the sports, travel & lifestyle, youth music markets producing broadcast brands, opening/closing sequences and in program graphic solutions. Matthew has had the pleasure of producing and designing for brands including World Cup, Hoyts, Coke, Castrol and Snickers locally and abroad.

His most recent work includes overseeing the development of multiple International television programs including “Castrol Racing Heroes” in the Middle East and football highlights show “The World Game”, broadcast in 150 countries, demonstrate his strength in sports. He has also recently completed work on ‘Take 40 Live’ and ‘The Insider(Hoyts/Coke)’ for MCM Media and on Channel 10’s ‘Bondi Vet Your Very First Puppy’ for WTFN. His most recent works in travel include developing the broadcast brand and producing full graphic packages for the soon to be premiering ‘Tony Robinson Explores Australia’ for the History Channel in Australia and the UK.

Matthew is making a name for himself in design animation excellence.
