After nearly a decade in Australian newspapers, mainly for The Canberra Times and The Courier, covering major murders, court cases, politics, sports events, the arts, and subbing letters to editors, I’m off on a new adventure. To help fund this, I am willing to write for all manner of outlets, magazines, websites, newspapers who are prepared to pay.
I have the versatility and experience to provide anything from a fast, hundred-word reaction to the latest breaking news to lengthy and lively features that require research and analysis. I am competent behind cameras, and have had photographs published prominently in newspapers.
I also have experience as an opinion writer, having held a regular column with The Sunday Canberra Times, and am unafraid to be bold and colourful with my writing.
