I am a Marketing Professional specializing in Brand Activation and Trade Marketing. My experience has been gained while employed by a variety of companies that encompass various aspects of the marketing mix. My experience has seen me run a variety of projects across a number of marketing disciplines, most recently within the advertising arena running promotional campaigns for a number of large corporations. I am seeking opportunities to utilise these skills further and gain new experiences within the marketing industry.

Key Skills
Project Management: Ability to manage campaigns from briefing through to the final analysis of the results. In addition to this an ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously and ensuring that all deadlines are met.
Budget Management:Effectively able to manage budgets of various sizes and ensure that campaigns are run in the most cost effective way to benefit both the business and key stakeholders. During my time at BMF we were approached by Meat and Livestock to run an event to launch their spring lamb campaign – this project had a very tight budget of $20,000. Through negotiation with suppliers and councils, we were able to run the event nationally within the budget thereby gaining the client’s confidence in our abilities.
People Management: Working with junior staff (through graduate programs) to provide coaching and guidance. In addition to managing teams of various sizes and skill sets. While working at Retail Performance and The Marketing Department I managed teams of staff that varied in size from 20 to 100 people. Part of my role was to provide support and guidance, on the job training, and recruitment of new staff as required.
Presentation Skills: Accredited trainer of small groups, and confident in creating and presenting to groups of all sizes. Presentations have varied from training on various topics in brand activation to presenting creative concepts (including strategic direction) and post campaign analysis.

BMF ( www.bmf.com.au ) is an advertising agency that offers a full range of services to its clients. One of the services was brand activation advice and project management; it was as part of the specialist team that I worked across a number of BMF’s clients.

Clients: Cool Ridge, Renault, Commonwealth Bank, Goodman Fielder, Meat and Livestock (Beef and Lamb), OPSM, True Local, Bupa Australia.

Key Tasks: Liaising with clients and internal brand teams, Overall project management of promotions, Event organization and management, Budget Management, Promotional Legal’s (providing advice and guidance, setting up process, permit applications), Liaison with internal and external suppliers to achieve campaign objectives, 3rd Party Negotiations and New Business (creating & making the presentation pitches to prospective clients).

Westfield

Westfield owned 4 properties on Pitt St Mall, and my role was to manage the marketing for 2 of these centres – Centrepoint and Imperial Arcade. This role encompassed 2 key components, marketing the centre’s overall, in addition to working with the individual retailers, to create local area marketing campaigns to help drive revenue for their stores.

Key Tasks: Writing and implementation of marketing plans for the 2 centres (including planning campaigns for key retail periods), Working with external suppliers to implement campaigns, Organisation of large scale events and meetings, Training and management of casual staff, Booking media and advertising space and PR for the centres and campaigns run within them.
