Suzie Wicks

Suzie is an award-winning scriptwriter with experience across a variety of written and visual formats, including theatre, radio, short film, animation and television. She began her career as a cartoonist. Her episode of ABC children’s animation series Zigby recently won her an Awgie. Her writer/director debut on the short film The Word (2005) also won several awards, playing at various US film festivals and alerting the interest of HBO comedy talent scouts. Suzie is taking comedy to new frontiers with a collaboration with Magic Real Picture company on a genre bending mock doc comedy Crocks, Frocks and the Untimely Disappearance of the Documentary Film-Maker. Other credits include the short film Nervous in Suburbia, and the ABC Radio drama The Hum. Suzie welcomes enquiries for scriptwriting and development of highly creative projects, preferably with a comedic slant.
