Hulsbosch builds senior team with Benni Weller and Mikey Hart becoming creative directors

Hulsbosch has made a number of leadership appointments to its senior team.

Internally, Benni Weller has been promoted to creative director and Vivienne Buls to studio manager.

Hulsbosch said in a statement that Weller and Buls earned their new roles by “delivering an exceptional level of dedication, commitment and leadership”.

“I’m thrilled to say that the promotions for Benni and Vivienne in particular are a true testament to the company’s culture, and our ongoing investment in our biggest asset, our people,” said director Jaid Hulsbosch.

Mikey Hart has also been appointed as creative director, with a focus on consumer branding design projects. He brings with him over 15 years’ design experience, on portfolios such as Bayer, Kellogg’s, Nestle and Unilever.

To complete Hulsbosch’s new senior team, Irma del Mundo has become strategy director. She has worked across the Asia-Pacific region and led complex projects for brands like Nestle and PepsiCo.

Carolyn Pitt, head of account management, said the appointments are off the back of a successful 2018 with clients such as mobile-first would-be bank 86 400, and national football teams the Matildas and Socceroos.

“There was a need to develop a team drawn from both inside the company and an extensive talent search in the industry,” said Pitt.

Jaid Hulsbosch added that the appointments are in response to a number of new accounts acquired in late 2018.

“I have total confidence that the new senior team will make a standout contribution to the company and our clients,” he said.
