Dev Mookerjee is Technical Executive for IBM Watson in the Asia Pacific Region. He has built and led the technical team for the region from the formation of the IBM Watson Group. Dev has over fifteen years experience in advising organisations across most major industries in enterprise applications with a specific focus advanced analytics.

Before joining the Watson team, Dev was the IBM Global Technical Ambassador for Social Media Analytics. Currently Dev focusses on advising enterprises on how to harness the capabilities of Cognitive Technologies and Artificial Intelligence techniques to differentiate themselves and accelerate their growth. Dev lives in Sydney and holds a Master in IT from the University of Canberra and a Masters of Business Administration from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management.

Kirsten Riolo is a Director SMX (Social Media Exchange) at Ipsos in Australia. She has 20 years of experience working in research and media measurement. Kirsten is a QPMR practitioner and a member of AMSRS, with qualitative and quantitative experience across brand, service and product tracking projects, product development, media creative evaluation (print, radio, outdoor, online and television) as well as print, digital audience, online communities and social media measurement. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from The Australian National University and a Masters of Management from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management in Sydney. Kirsten has experience working with new technologies and social media measurement across a range of industries such as automotive, banking, financial services, not for profit, government, FMCG, CPG, entertainment, media and property development.

Toby Walsh is a leading expert in artificial intelligence (AI). He is Scientia Professor of AI at UNSW and leads a group at Data61. He was named by the Australian newspaper as a “rock star” of the digital revolution, and included in their list of the 100 most important digital innovators in Australia.

Professor Walsh is a passionate advocate for limits to ensure AI is used to improve, not hurt, our lives. In 2015, he published an open letter calling for a ban on autonomous weapons or ‘killer robots’ that was signed by more than 20,000 AI researchers and high profile scientists, entrepreneurs and intellectuals, including Stephen Hawking, Noam Chomsky, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, and Tesla founder Elon Musk. He was subsequently invited to talk about the topic at the United Nations in both New York and Geneva. Professor Walsh is a Fellow of the Australia Academy of Science, winner of the Humboldt Award and the NSW Premier’s Prize for ICT.
