Account Director

The Why

We are looking for an experienced Account Director to set the tone and direct how the client’s business is managed, driving the overall strategic direction of the brands, leading the development of the best work possible and optimising all revenue opportunities leading to the growth of the account.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading agency working with some of the biggest names in the Technology space across B2B and B2C.

The What

You will work with an internal team of strategists, planners, creative directors, designers and producers through the proposal, production, and post-production phases of projects, representing the client’s interests, winning business, doing great work and growing the account by seeking new revenue opportunities.

You will both grow and deepen the agencies relationship with the clients by driving innovative, creative solutions and by ensuring that the agency add value at every stage of the process. You will take accountability for owning the client relationship and understanding their long-term objectives.

Ask questions, challenge thinking and use other methods to verify understanding. Provides reasons and explanations.

Driving client relationships: The role requires you to build profitable and robust client relationships:

• Act as a trusted, proactive advisor to the client in all marketing activity, always considering the brand, all touchpoints, and the best ways to extend/amplify the message

• You will know your clients business inside out. It will be your passion to know about your client’s competitors, the marketplace within they operate, global trends, industry best-practice so that you can prove to be a valued partner.

Building business: This role requires you to have a growth mindset:

• You will proactively seek opportunities to do more for our clients. You will apply your passion for marketing, your general marketplace knowledge and your deep understanding of the client’s needs to shape smart, relevant proactive proposals

• You will work with the Senior Leadership Team, to explore new business opportunities, assessing both the opportunity and the approach and converting those opportunities into business

• Working with the team, you will consult on the best way to secure, service and grow those opportunities long-term

• Drive the growth of the business by working proactively with senior clients on future campaign initiatives, by having an interest in marketing trends and by understanding the client’s marketplace and business drivers
