We’ve had a huge year so far and looking for Account Executive to join our Account service Team.

The role will suit an experienced AE, with circa 18 months media experience, who is looking for a new challenge and wants to progress in the next 12 months.

As a member of our Account Service Team, our Account Executives work with Account Management leaders to deeply understand a client’s brand and category and help drive creative solutions that deliver real business impact. They should be able to handle a broad variety of tasks with increasing independence and sound judgement. They are trusted to build relationships across all of JOY’s resources and capabilities.

This is an opportunity to work in a highly integrated agency, collaborating heavily with media teams to create truly holistic & innovative campaigns that deliver real and meaningful results for clients.

It is also an opportunity to work in a highly elevated agency-client relationship. You will have a voice at the table and be seen as a valued extension of the clients marketing team.

We’re looking for someone who has:

– Excellent attention to detail
– Driven to deliver excellence and solutions focussed
– Strong communication skills (written and verbal), and emerging skills as a presenter for smaller client presentations
– The ability to help with the preparation of presentation documents, including strong PowerPoint (and other relevant) skills
– Inherent curiosity to push creativity
– Entrepreneurial approach – to go beyond the day-to-day urgent work
– A can-do attitude, and entrepreneurial approach – flexible and adaptable

Key Responsibilities include:

– Establishing relationships with clients
– Day-to-day project contact for smaller clients, creative teams and agency partners
– Working internally with all internal team members to facilitate the process of developing great work
– Working alongside planning and senior account management to produce simple creative briefs
– Compiling competitive reporting for clients, drawing out insights that aid in creative process & client business
– Ensuring that each campaign delivers on key objectives.
– Financial management
– Working on new business pitches where required.


– 18 months experience in a similar role at a creative or integrated agency
– Integrated experience – TV, digital, social, radio, print
– Very strong organisation, time management and multi-tasking capabilities
– Comprehensive Australian advertising landscape knowledge
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills
– Strong attention to detail
– True team player who actively seeks to involve others.
– Must be an AU citizen or have appropriate AU working visa.
