About this role:

This is a growing Sydney-based Brand and Content agency that, due to new business wins is looking to meet a fantastic Account Executive.

This agency is an up-and-coming industry shaker fuelled by creativity and not egos. With a team of 25 in the Sydney office, the agency vibe is super dynamic with a mix of retainer and project clients ranging from FMCG to e-commerce, tech, property development, financial institutions, NFPs, education and more, working across Strategy, Video, Animation, Design, Digital and Social channels.

This Account Executive role is a launchpad role to learn the intricacies of agency workings before stepping up into more client-facing work.

Day to day you’ll be responsible for:
– Supporting the client services team, while also running your own smaller projects with clients
– You’ll be responsible for ensuring that the team is meeting the client’s needs and working with the key people delivering the agency’s creative output.
– You love solving problems and driving projects to completion, working with a variety of people and the fast pace of a growing agency.
– You’ll report into a Senior Account Director, you’ll be keen to get stuck in, make a plan and find a way to get things done across a broad client base.
– You will follow processes in efficiently and effectively delivering projects, from initial briefing, reverse briefing, creating timelines, resourcing, estimating, invoicing and delivering final projects to clients.
– You will ensure ideas remain faithful to the brief and are kept within the timeframe and budget. You will use your organisational, communication and problem-solving skills to meet the client’s needs.
– You will work across project & retainer clients, as one of the day-to-day contacts sending work to clients and receiving feedback, while managing expectations and looking for opportunities.

You will have:
– A Degree of Certificate in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration or similar
– Experience working in a fast-paced environment
– Ideally experience in an agency, marketing role, campaign management or project management, internships welcome
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Exceptional attention to detail
– A passion for working with people & developing your presentation skills
– Be able to work autonomously and in a team
