Account Manager

Job Description
Starcom are looking for an Account Manager looking for a change or a Senior Account Executive looking fora step up to work on one of the most forward thinking, innovation driven clients in the market.


To support the Account Director and Business Director across three portfolios on a huge global account.

Helping manage the team Account Executive and Account Coordinator. Given the type of role this is, there is a lot of growth and development not only around client management, but people management as well.


Help support Account Director and Business Director across key clients
Take ownership and be the client lead for some of the brands across the portfolio
Provide an evidenced based planning response with relevant application of data and past campaign learning’s to achieve client KPIs
Apply relevant media tools when building recommendations
Work with the Account Executive and Account Coordinator to ensure all invoicing is on track and also ensure that all budgets are updated and signed off in Media Tools monthly

The key for this role is to be an excellent communicator – building long-term relationships internally, with media partners and with the client
This role is primarily planning and account management, will need a clear understanding of the role of channels, how to read and pull out insights from competitive data and audience data as well as how to build up media plans, and work to agreed time frames
The ideal candidate would also have a clear understanding of buying (either has been a trader or as experience working in the investment side of the business) and has financial acumen
Although they won’t be expected to buy or to invoice, they will be responsible for managing budgets and also offering support and guidance to the Account Coordinator and Account Executive
Digital experience is not required however would be a bonus
