ABOUT YOU
As the Account Manager, you will possess a strong blend of creativity, problem-solving talent and exceptional client service. You will be passionate about brands and spearhead change within the client’s business and positioning by providing strategic counsel. You encourage collaboration across the agency and develop relationships with a creative approach. As the Account Manager you will oversee and help manage projects, ensuring excellent project delivery resulting in 100% client satisfaction and ongoing business.

WHAT YOU’RE HERE TO DO
Your key responsibilities are:
Client Management & Delivery
– Ensures clients feel they have a ‘true partner’ they can relate to, collaborate with and gain value from
– Understands clients’ hierarchies & business contexts and applies this knowledge within all client relationships
– Ensures management and successful delivery of client expectations, keeping all stakeholders informed of the progress of projects and dealing with or escalating any issues efficiently
– Ensure the agency doesn’t miss any opportunity to strengthen client relationships; uses market insight and an understanding of client’s future strategy to find commercially appropriate ways to respond to client briefs and propose new projects
– Assists in the development and delivery of client presentations
– Consistently looks for new ways of working in order to meet the needs of clients
– Suggests creative ways to adapt our project management processes to tailor them to the client and support successful delivery
– Gathers, shares and acts upon client feedback throughout all delivery
– Guides the creative and production/development teams throughout the process to ensure that best practice integrated processes are adhered to and mitigates project risks

Commercial/Profitability
– Assists with and writes high quality proposals and presentations that best showcase our approach and credentials
– Oversees financial wellbeing of live projects, reporting updates and feedback to the team
– Spots opportunities for new projects and creates an approach for unlocking the work
– Has a good handle on cost estimations and timing feasibility of a proposed creative idea
– Understands the importance of resource management
– Ensures that clients are aware of all the services Freedman can offer
– Oversees the tracking and management of account forecasts; attending and preparing for status meetings with Finance team and Account Director to ensure all targets are met
– Collaborates with the Client Services team to deliver the Account team’s strategic and financial objectives

People
– Raises internal profile through knowledge sharing and internal presentations
– Champions the importance of teamwork and motivates others around them
– Leverages full resources of the business and supports the resource and studio planning
– Assists with the coaching and development of more junior account and project members
– Keeps abreast of industry trends and releases, sharing these with the wider team
– Strengthens team dynamics and fosters strong relationships across the agency
Acts with maturity and professionalism that is an example to everyone
– Fosters good relationships with all internal departments and cross-functional teams
– Proactively supports the team, suggesting new ideas and questioning thinking where appropriate

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE/KNOW
– Significant experience working in account management within a creative/marketing agency
– A proven track record of delivering high-calibre work, going above and beyond client expectations
– Significant experience overseeing key client accounts, building successful senior relationships & rapidly earning client trust
– Solid, significant experience of driving projects from initial briefing to final product, taking into consideration how projects link together within an account, and how to create efficiencies
– Experience successfully managing expectations of various stakeholders
– Experience in campaign management
– Experience overseeing and directing a team of project managers to project delivery
– Excellent financial awareness, with strong skills within finance management and profit tracking, and a level of comfort creating and delivering quotes
– Experience putting quality control measures in place, feeding back and continuously improving service
– Working experience and understanding of localisation
– A strategic and visionary focus with a positive and proactive approach to work
– A flair and ability to influence project outcomes and client thinking
– Exceptional attention to detail and/or experience performing output quality control
– Exceptional written, verbal communication skills with strong, confident and natural presentation ability
– High level of emotional intelligence
– A strong drive to succeed and progress, both as a team and as an individual
– Degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferable but not essential
