The successful candidate will be a self-motivated strategic thinker, comfortable representing Monster Children to endemic and non-endemic brands and the media agencies that represent them.

Monster Children is looking for an experienced advertising sales and partnerships manager to join our Sydney based team. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated strategic thinker, comfortable representing Monster Children to endemic and non-endemic brands and the media agencies that represent them. Must have:
– Min 4-5 years of proven past experience in marketing or media, including knowledge of media sales and buying.
– Strong understanding of the digital and print media landscape and a strong command of the partnership opportunities in these spaces.
– A track record in development and preparation of RFPs from media agencies.
– Existing network of contacts and working relationship with a wide range of media agencies working across both endemic and non-endemic brands.
– A passion for Monster Children’s content pillars: Surfing, Skateboarding, Music, Art, Travel, Photography, and Film
– Capable with PowerPoint, Keynote or other design tools, and skills for the purpose of preparing decks and proposals for advertising and partnerships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advertising and Partnerships
– Enthusiastically develop new business, clients, and partnerships to meet and exceed sales goals.
– Manage southern hemisphere advertising activity for monsterchildren.com and Monster Children’s quarterly publication.
– Build and maintain new relationships with brand and agency partners.
– Work with the Brand Partnerships Director to and maintain existing relationships.
– Respond to agency RFPs and proactively develop new business proposals and packages.
– Develop concepts and opportunities for content partnerships.
– Develop concepts and opportunities for editorial partnerships.
– Manage print and digital advertising traffic and reporting, ensuring the delivery of content across Monster Children’s channels where appropriate.
– Continually review and adapt MC’s advertising offering to the ever-changing digital advertising landscape and evolving partner needs. Events and Marketing
– Manage Monster Children’s Australian based events – Develop marketing plans in association with the Partnerships Director, with a specific focus on key initiatives across print and digital, including publication launches and key content initiatives.
