Agency General Manager

The Why

Our client is an award-winning independent marketing agency, dedicated to transforming the ways retailers & brands connect & influence people.

As a one-stop-shop for all things Below The Line, their expertise covers everything from Shopper Marketing Strategy and Creative, through to Consumer Promotions, POS Design and Rollout, Experiential and In-Store Events and Sampling Activations.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a General Manager to join the team.

The What

Manage operations across the business (non-client facing) ensuring that process and systems are followed and upheld; and that projects are executed to budget and exceeding expectations on scope of works.

You will be responsible for running the day to day of the office to ensure top productivity and profitability.

Lead, manage and mentor creative teams, sales teams and client services teams.

You will lead the agency in delivering a successful BTL offering

Prepare and implement annual business plans and budgets.

Oversee the management of all business operations and functions to ensure the achievement of business plans and budgets.

Prepare reports and forecasts for the Board as required.

Collaborate, cooperate, and proactively contribute to ensure the annual business plan and budget is exceeded.

Communicate performance expectations and support the team by building required competencies, providing feedback, managing behaviours and performance gaps.
Monitor individual and team performance and workload and take action to address learning and development needs and performance issues.

The How

10+ Years experience in managing Client Service team and Operations team

You are familiar with agency life but have high level skills in business operations.

Ability to foster strong working relationships across divisions; working collaboratively to ensure seamless execution of projects across the business units

Experience reviewing and negotiating Legal agreements and RFI/RFP requirements for client rosters as required

Flexible Working: Part-time 4 days a week or Full-time
