Associate Creative Director

As an Associate Creative Director of LADbible Australia you will be working within a fast-growing, award-winning social publishing company which has an enormous influence on a young generation.

The Role:
LADbible Group reaches almost half of all Australians each month, and as a result we’re opening an office in Sydney to better service that audience.

An integral part of our Australian office will be our content team, who will be responsible for all creative output on our platforms. Content responsabilities include, editorial, commercial creative, and marketing.

As a result of this hybrid role we’re looking to recruit a multi skilled associate creative director to head up our content team. Ideally candidates will have previous experience working within journalism, as well as branded content.

Working as an Associate Creative Director, you will:
• Manage and optimise the content teams output of all creative from our office
• Streamline processes in order to get the most out of your team
• Manage and maintain LADbible’s main page during Australian time zone
• Develop and grow our LADbible Australia publication
• Develop and grow our Australian audiene across all platforms and publications
• Look for new and innovative ways to engage with our Australian audience
• Combine your cultural awareness and commercial knowledge to create and facilitate successful content solutions for prospective and existing brand partners. 
• Need to demonstrate creative ideas that benefit the brand, the business and the audience –inspiring output which create a powerful effect on the consumer first and foremost. 
• Have an understanding and experience of the different consumption channels and content formats that resonate most with young consumers, when it comes to brand storytelling: including written articles, still and animated image, video show series, events / experiential, media properties and occasionally 360 programs. 
• Deliver quality ideas in a fast-paced, often high pressure environment, using necessary resources to generate ideas in accordance with the brief 
• Adapt and respond to the flexibility and demands of the working environment and new and existing trends 
• Be responsible for clearly communicating and upholding the integrity of your creative ideas both internally and externally presenting to clients 
• Demonstrate how your ideas fit into the broader brand and communication strategies of the client, and can meet their specific objectives 
• Work closely with all other departments in the company (particularly sales, production, and tech), as part of our creative team
• Be producing output consisting of content formats that lives on the LADbible’s ecosystem, as well as white label projects with no integration on TheLADbible’s brand channels.
• Create presentation materials including keynote presentations, mood boards, storyboards, and video reels – working with designers and specialists where necessary. 
The Person
We are looking for candidates with a track-record who can show their pedigree and make a difference at a fast-growing youth media brand. As a pioneering member of team, we need someone with an abundance of creative talent, passion and energy.

The right person will have the following:
• Experience within a similar role at a publisher or agency
• A passion for youth culture and a broad understanding of social media and the entertainment industries
• Understanding of current trends and what makes engaging content 
• Knowledge of the company’s market position, brand and overall style
• Active social media user with experience of various social channels 
• Knowledge of merging and established talent
• Ability to research a subject / topic and present findings in a constructive manor
• A flexible and adaptable approach to work
• Strong aesthetic appreciation and the ability to articulate ideas powerfully in written and visual form 
• Ability to naturally build a positive, strong rapport with the wider teams and a love for working collaboratively
• A keen sense of humour
• Genuine passion about the LADbible brand
• Ambition to really add value to the company
