Associate Producer

Our production team is responsible for developing the deals we recommend for our members. This position requires a balance of activities, including research, writing, evaluating, consulting with clients and external stakeholders, working with internal stakeholders, and recommending the best offers to our publishers for approval. By studying market research, following industry trends and learning the needs of our members, the production team develop content plans for clients, build relationships within the travel industry and ultimately deliver outstanding deals to our members and clients.

The ideal candidate will be customer-centric, have a creative flair for writing, be data-driven and analytical and excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, always changing environment.

This position is based in Sydney.

Account management of existing and new clients
Build client relationships that result in the best offers for our members, while balancing the clients’ needs. Negotiate deals with clients when offers are not strong enough to publish.
Research a variety of deals including restaurant, spa, travel, hotel, flight and entertainment deals to determine their true value and to maximize engagement and client return
Convey concisely to our members the highlights of a deal and destination through copywriting, while balancing what members need to know
Give feedback on what makes a deal worthy of publish and source new deal content
Write headlines, short articles and stories for publish
Monitor and analyze performance; make adjustments and recommendations in order to ensure our members see the best deals and clients’ expectations are met
Work closely with sales counterparts to develop new client relationships and grow current ones
Work on special projects as assigned (including click trends, market research, website assistance, creating dedicated microsites and more)
Display a high level of attention to detail, and organizational and critical thinking in all work, including researching, writing, selecting and evaluating deals

University degree, preferably in Journalism, Marketing or Hospitality
1-3+ years of experience; new graduates with relevant internship experience considered
Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be able to work towards deadlines
A high-performance focus, strong work ethic and sound judgement
Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
Proven passion for travel and lifestyle activities, including experience booking personal travel
