Audience Development Manager – Digital

– Be involved in driving digital strategy to maximise audience reach and growth
– 12 month, fixed-term contract on either a full or part time basis
– Central Southbank location

Outstanding opportunity to lead paid digital audience growth for our Victorian mastheads at Australia’s largest media organisation.

What’s the role?

– Uncover opportunities for growth amongst new audience segments and drive engagement amongst core audience segments.
– Develop and implement data-led audience development strategies to support the achievement of subscription acquisition targets across the region’s digital properties, including the Herald Sun, Leader, The Weekly Times and Geelong Advertiser.
– Create strategies to optimise the distribution of digital content across owned and earned channels.
– Influence digital editorial content strategy based on actionable and data-led insight.
– Work with internal editorial, marketing, product and partnerships teams to ensure the customer is at the centre of every strategic decision we make.

Who are you?
– Experience using digital analytics / measurement tools to uncover growth opportunities in an insight, strategy or audience development role.
– Strategic and analytical thinker, able to turn data and insights into clear, concise and actionable strategies.
– Audience led, are passionate about great experiences and put the customer at the centre of everything you do.
– Understanding of the digital media landscape, including Facebook and Google algorithms, best practice for email newsletters and content distribution.
– Great communicator, able to translate complex data sets and results with ease to a variety of people in different areas of the business.
– Prior experience in Nielsen Content Ratings, Adobe analytics/ Omniture and Emma would be highly advantageous.
