The Business Development Manager will source and build relationships with clients and key decision makers to develop new business opportunities across the BBC Studios Australian and New Zealand business. This includes sourcing new content partnerships, creating and selling new branded services and developing and selling new products and services.
Accountabilties
Developing sales leads for new content, branded services, products and solutions.
Creating a new pipeline of future content, branded services products and solutions for prospective partners.
Sourcing and assessing potential partners, which may involve performing competitive research with a view to assessing opportunities and to create and instigating new sales opportunities.
Evaluating proposed deals and partnerships and generating new deal structures and term sheets along with business models to ensure execution of deals.
Identify opportunities for continued business improvement and strategic new business opportunities to ensure the business is up to date and trialing new future growth initiatives.
Manage new businesses during execution and incubation period, before handing over deal management and maintenance as part of business as usual for the relevant business unit.
