Brand/Place Strategist

Reporting to the Strategy Director, you will work on some of the most exciting and important city-making projects in Australia today.

Key responsibilities include:
– Developing brand and place strategies based on clear insights
– Insight development and research – including running client and customer workshops
– Developing brand strategies –brand purpose, values, personality, USP, customer experience and brand architecture
– Developing marketing plans – channel and message recommendations
– Strategy engagement in creative development – naming, verbal & visual identity and campaign creative
– Maintaining a relationship with clients, staying current on the latest events in their category

– 4+ years’ strategy experience with a leading agency, experienced in place, experience, destination, property, or brand
– Passionate about the future of cities, architecture, urban design, retail, communities, destinations, and places
– Able to identify and articulate insights, problems, opportunities, solutions, and actions
– A strong understanding of how to commission and conduct research
– Outstanding written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
– An appreciation for design and how strategy influences creative outcomes
– Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and think on the fly
– A team player who pitches in with whatever is required
– Enthusiastic, sociable, excited, vibrant, and creative!
