Business Development Manager – Martech industry

Exciting opportunity for Business Development Manager in a fast-growing data and marketing technology consultancy.

Your role is to leverage your network of senior Marketing and Business contacts, opening the door to new business conversations. Through industry events, direct conversations and a “thought leadership” approach, you’ll cultivate leads and facilitate introductions. Reporting to the Sales Director and working closely with the senior management team, you’ll develop insightful presentations that showcase the agency’s deep expertise in CX, CRM and Digital marketing solutions. You’ll own the sales process from identifying market opportunities through to onboarding the client into the business, with the Account Service team then taking responsibility for the ongoing relationship.

This consultancy is well established and highly respected, with some of the best talent and thinking in the industry, so is a compelling service to sell in. Already working with a suite of blue-chip clients, the consultancy operates at the intersection of Marketing and Technology, and offers data, strategy and marketing automation solutions. With a warm and friendly culture, their office is located in the city CBD and you will also work closely with their Melbourne Head Office.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a sound understanding of the digital marketing and marketing automation, and a wide group of corporate contacts and demonstrated sales experience. You’ll be a polished and credible presenter, with an engaging and personable manner. You need at least 4 years experience in a corporate sales role ideally in the Digital, Automation or Martech space, and the confidence to deal with C-suite executives. There are great long-term career prospects on offer.
