Campaign Manager

Rapidly growing online start up in the travel industry which has experienced huge success are now expanding their business to Australia.

Having pulled in a huge amount of capital to fuel their expansion and growth globally, they are now seeking a Campaign Manager to help them grow the marketing function for Australia.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, this newly created role will:
Plan, execute and deliver branded campaigns over a variety of traditional and new channels, across both offline and online mediums
Think creatively: identify with their target market in ANZ and how to reach them in the most engaging, cost-efficient way
Analyse pros and cons of channel mix – including ATL (print, sponsorships) as well as on-the ground activities (events, booths) and complementary digitals (content marketing, socials)
Be KPI focused: use multiple metrics to assess the real value of campaigns (e.g. traffic uplift, direct response, registrations, returning users, life-time-value)
Use customer insights and seasonal patterns from internal data sources and external tools (i.e. Google Trends, industry reports and statistics)
Manage campaigns internally and identify the need to contract with agencies for larger scale activities and coordinate the process, from brief to execution
Collaborate with co-workers globally to ensure the local approach aligns with the overarching global branding strategy
Monitor trends and stay up-to-date on the latest marketing techniques and practices
A passionate and creative marketer with an entrepreneurial mindset, you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Business / Commerce with a major in Marketing
Minimum of 2 years marketing experience in a similar role – agency experience is beneficial
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with co-workers and externals
A jack of all trades – open to trialling traditional and new marketing opportunities
Willingness to test, test, test and be very hands on
Flexibility and adaptability – things are fresh, so you can expect some teething time in the beginning
Have an eye on the big picture at all times; growth and building brand awareness is a major focus point
A start-up attitude – highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your sleeves attitude
Ability to work independently when require
Previous experience working in the online travel / eCommerce industry will be highly regarded
